So You’ve Got Something to Promote?

Sounds Great! I'll grab my camera...

Well, actually I’ll start with the laptop. But you get the picture. Whether it’s a product review blog post and video, some social media collabs, a travel series about fishing destinations near you, or something in between, I’m ready to start working on creative ideas to promote your business.

I’ve also got a few big video series that are just waiting for a sponsor, if that’s more your style.

Go ahead, cast a line my way…

FAQ’s

How far in advance should I reach out to work with you?

Ideally I’d like to have 4 weeks or longer. By the time things ship, planning is done, I want to shoot in the correct weather, and take time to do the editing of your project without rushing. But, if you have something you need quickly, or you need me to jump on a plane to Montana for some BFS trout fishing this week, let’s talk. It all depends on my schedule. (I can probably make that trout fishing trip work.)

What’s your audience demographics?

The audience size is always growing. I get over 500k impressions, reach 28k unique viewers every month. They are 99% male, ages 18-64.

Did you really design the Kistler Hunt BFS rods?

Yes. That was my first big collaboration. Trey and I spent hours on the phone during that process. I drew up measurements, detailed the performance characteristics I expected, and Trey and his team took their decades of experience hand-crafting premium fishing rods to create something unique in the market. I have 25 years of engineering experience, with half of that being in product development. But it was my content that prompted Kistler to contact me to start the process.

Do you do “collabs” with other creators?

I’m always happy to do collaborations with other creators, or with the social media teams in the organizations I work with. For example, when I do destination collaborations, I’m happy to do social media collaborations with the resort or lodge.

So who is Aaron?

Aaron Hunt is a life-long fisherman who became infatuated with Bait Finesse System fishing in 2021. After a successful career in organizational engineering leadership across 6 different industries, he retired at the age of 48.

The goal was to build upon his photography business, which was a side hustle at the time, and used a top 100 podcast that Aaron hosted for marketing. After the wild ride that 2020 threw at us all, all he wanted to do was go fishing and clear his head. So that first Monday in December of 2020, that’s what he did.

His friends and family told him “You can’t just go fishing.” They knew he wasn’t the kind of person to just do nothing but sit on a riverbank, lounge in a hammock, and play a bit of golf every now and then. And they were right.

Aaron started exploring new places and new techniques of fishing. Fly fishing was okay. Tenkara seemed interesting. But Bait Finesse (or BFS) ignited a new level of passion. From the very first trout Aaron caught on that inexpensive BFS setup, he was hooked.

Now 5 years later, he is proving everyone wrong. Now his friends are saying “Maybe you can just go fishing?” Yes he can.
