Best BFS Deals: 2024 AliExpress 11-11 Sale
It’s that time again! It’s the annual 11-11 Sale at AliExpress. Although it looks like this year it might just be called ‘Mega Choice Day’.
If you think of AliExpress as the Chinese Amazon, then consider this their version of Prime Day. And this is my list of the best BFS Deals for the sale!
So far, it looks like it will be 7 Days, from 11-1 through 11-7. And historically, some deals sell out, while others seem to be added a little late. I’ll do my best to keep this list updated.
And don’t forget the coupon codes! On top of the great prices, they also have discount codes that increase the more you spend.

Why Order from AliExpress?
The main reason is price. You can get some seriously good deals on budget and even mid-range gear buying from AliExpress, especially during their sale events.
While they used to be mainly once a year, now they happen more often. But the November sale is by far the biggest.
Shipping has improved over the last few years. Most sale items are delivered within 2 weeks in my experience.

At this point I’ve ordered over 50 times from AliExpress. I did have one lost package, but they refunded my money. So No worries. Otherwise I wouldn’t even write this post. So on to the best BFS deals of 2024!

Best BFS Deals for 2024
I’ll break this into 4 sections, so you can easily find the items you’re interested in. Then I’ll add a few bonus sections from other BFS creators or for other side interests I have – just in case you have other interests in common with me. 🙂
BFS Reels
Doviello Accura HICC-50
I’ll just start with the budget king: The Soloking/Doviello Acura. This is my baseline standard for BFS reels. It’s regularly available for around $42. You can pick up this great performing reel for $36.35 when the sale starts.
But look around: Last year I grabbed one for $29 on a flash sale. This is a great entry level reel, and intro to BFS reel, or a throw in the truck reel so you can always go fishing when you see a cool-looking body of water.

Histar Aurora Air
I picked this reel up recently, and it’s a solid performer. For many it’s become their favorite budget reel. It looks like it will be right at $35 during the sale.
PureLure Silver Feather Elite
The PureLure platform is becoming one of the budget platforms I enjoy most. I have the regular Silver Feather and the DC. As far as I know, All are made by DMK, a reputable factory.
My wife even enjoys using the Silver Feather, and she’s not much of a baitcast user at all. They are easy to cast, have great distance and backlash control with their braking systems, and simply represent a great value to performance ratio.
The aluminum-frame Elite version is typically around $135, but will be on sale for $103 during the Mega Choice Sale.
PureLure Silver Feather
And speaking of the PureLure reels, I bought this one last year when it was released for $86. It’s normally closer to $105, but it will be on sale for $73! A Great value.
Tsurinoya Genius / Elf
I consider the Genius and Elf to be the updated version of the cult-classic Dark Wolf Ultra. They will be on sale for around $58. The best thing about the elf is that it is one of the few slower gear ratio BFS reels at 6.4:1.

Haibo Arise Air
OK, I haven’t seen a good sale for these yet, but last year the best price I found on sale was $104, and that’s what you can get it for from this seller. If I see a better price, I’ll update the post.
But the Arise Air is the same reel as the $150 Ark Gravity BFS. Many consider this the best sub $300 BFS reel out there – comparing it to the Shimano Aldebaran and Daiwa Alphas Air!
Kingdom Micro Monster Pro
The original Micro Monster is still one of my favorite underrated BFS reels. The new Pro version has a braking system that looks like a take on Daiwa’s Air brakes. And it’s available for less than I’ve ever seen the old Micro Monster! It will be under $62 when the sale starts!

Speaking of the Micro Monster, it will be on sale for between $54 and $56 depending on gear ratios and RH vs LH. A great value!
BFS Rods
OK, I’m spoiled because I use my Kistler Hunt BFS rods almost every fishing trip. But, I started with budget rods from AliExpress, so I’ve been looking for the best BFS deals on rods for this year. I get that most people aren’t spending $300 for a fishing rod. So I focused on deals under $100. One is even around $20!
Mifine Illusion Slash
This one is for all those “I want to cast a trout magnet” BFS guys. These rods are rated from 0.2 to 0.8 grams. Yeah – don’t throw anything over 1 grams not these – they might break!
But, the awesome white blank is super light, and you can get them for as little as $24! Check them out here.
Tsurinoya Intruder Travel Rod
OK – jump on this one fast! I’ve tried to buy this rod twice, and they always sell out. It has a great reputation, and the price is advertised to be around $70 during the sale. It might be the best deal in multi-piece travel rods.
PureLure BFS Telescopic Rod
Maybe you prefer a telescopic Rod for your travel rods? Then this one is for you. Prices for the various sizes and colors seem to range from $62 to $68.
Mavllos Delicacy
I’ve written about this one in the past – and I still think it’s a fantastic deal. It’s an even better deal during this sale, especially when you can also get free shipping. So you can pick up a great budget rod for under $28 that comes with two tips – both a hollow and a solid.
Handing Magic L
Sometimes this rod goes on an amazing sale on Amazon. But right now they are close to $60. However, they will be on AliExpress for around $40 during this sale, depending on which model you choose.
It’s a decent deal on a very popular BFS rod.
Mavllos Resolute
I’ve used a few Malls rods, but haven’t tried this one yet. It’s got some positive discussion on some BFS forums, and is rated down to 0.8 grams. So for around $32 it could be a great option if you like 6 foot or longer rods.
PureLure Creek Dance
This one may sell out quickly as well, because some of the models are already sold out before the sale. The Creek Dance is a sold BFS rod. And it comes in 2-piece or 4-piece models.
I’m pretty certain this was closer to $70 last year, but they will be under $50 for the sale this year.
BFS Travel Rod
OK – I make no claims on this one – this is for those of you who like me will roll the dice on a seemingly good deal. This is a 4-piece (5 counting the handle) travel rod, marketed as a BFS rod, for $20 during the sale.
I would say “You can’t go wrong” – but I bought a Crap-King Centron travel rod for a similar price 2 years ago and it sucked. So – buy at your own risk. 😛
If I were buying rods this year, I would pull the trigger. But I’m not, so I’m just sharing the deal I found.
BFS lures
Ok, there are a lot of BFS reels. Even more BFS rods. But when it comes to lures, the selection is seemingly endless. There will be awesome deals to be found for sure.
I’ll add any amazing ones I find, but for now I’ll recommend a few brands to trust:
- Letoyo
- Tsurinoya
- Blux
- Supercontinent
- Spinpoler
From Blux, a few of my favorites are the Blux Dice and the Jack Claw Swimbait, both the floating and the sinking.
Tsurinoya makes some amazing poppers, finesse topwater, and various minnows, including the intruder which rivals the Ryuki minnows from Japan.
All of these will be under $5, with many around $3 during the sale.
Braided Line
When it comes to braid for BFS, I have eventually landed on Sunline and Varivas as my current go-to brands. But, they can be pricey. If you have 20+ reels like I do, line can add up. Or maybe $20-$30 line just isn’t worth t for you.
There is a lot of crap line out there, but I do have a few to recommend for the sale.
Kingdom Micro-Fly
This was my first BFS line, and it managed to help me land a few PB’s while I used it. But, I found it has one major drawback: knot strength when tied directly to the lure.
So, if you’re not using a leader, pass on this one. And it’s also super thin, so I’d probably ignore the 0.2 PE unless you’re throwing only under 1 gram.
But for around $3-$3.50 per spool, and having a pink option, I think it’s a great budget line as long as you use a leader.
LSP Thunderstorm
This brand doesn’t seem to sell anything below 0.6 PE – but that’s what I use typically so it works out well. It’s also pink, which I love. I’ve even written a post about why pink braided line is best in my opinion.
So you can spool 2 reels with 50 yards for about $7; that’s a great deal.
Handing Blast
Both he 4x and the 8X are on sale. I’ve used this line a good bit, and it’s a solid offering for sure. They have a lot of options, including 300 and 500-yard spools!
Sunline Siglon ADV
Ok – this isn’t a killer price, but this line has been discontinued. If it was offered in pink, I’d be crushed it is going away. The seller looks legit, so if you’re a Siglon ADV fan, this could be a chance to stock up for around $18 per spool.

I’ll probably add a few things in here as the sale goes live, but in the past I’ve bought Insta360 accessories, GoPro batteries from Telesin, and recently a 200x lens for my smartphone.
Coffee Deals
Not sure what I may or may not buy that’s coffee-related, but one thing that caught my eye was the TimeMore French press. I’ve bought a few TimeMore items from Aliexpress, and they all seem legit. For $17, I’ll probably pull the trigger on this one.
